    Sparkles in Windshield

In very direct bright sunlight, very tiny sparkles can be seen on my windshield. In the line of sight they are distracting but just a little disturbing. To see it best, the sunlight has to be bright, low on the horizon, and shining directly on the glass. I thought it was tree sap and used Turtle Wax tar/bug/sap remover. Sprayed it on, let it set a minute and rubbed it off. Did that twice but no change. The original owner (I'm second owner) had rentals in Myrtle Beach and now I'm thinking it might be from wind and sand damage. Gen ll Viper.

I'm guessing the windshield is just "sandblasted" from road debris. Probably the only thing that will fix that is a new windshield.

Agreed with both of these...the only thing you can do is a new windshield, and if you don't want it to happen again, don't drive it. I guess you could do a protective film of some sort (or a tear-off) on the outside, but that just kinda takes the fun out of it.

It can be fixed by a glass professional but NOT by you. It takes experience and the proper tools to repair glass that has sandblasting damage like that.

This will happen to any windshield if you actually drive the car, nothing to worry about

Never really noticed it before. Anyway it’s not so bad I’d change the windshield. Thanks for all your comments.

RT/10 supply is fine I believe. Its the GTS supply thats the issue. And believe it or not, the windshields are different.
