Does it go by the rear wheel speed? I only ask because I recently was doing some practice launches and it recorded something stupid low like 2.4 seconds, which I attribute to the rear breaking loose and reading 60mph despite the car not traveling anywhere near 60.

Easy answer for you. Watch your speedo during a burnout. Does it read high?

Note speed is not measured in the transmission like Gen1/2.

Sure does in my Gen 4. I think I did 0-60 in about 0.5 seconds the other night.

Yeah, I have a 0-60 in 0.9 sec as my best. I think it is pretty accurate.

Not to hijack, but it is kind of similar... Is there anywhere on a Gen V that shows "fastest" top speed?

All my buddies with other SRT models are always bragging after drives, because their factory Garmins all show it. But I have looked everywhere, many times, and I cannot find this anywhere on mine. It would be nice.. I'm usually ahead of them or flying by.

Not that I've seen in the car. I like using the Dragy though. Lots of cool data and inexpensive, but I don't think it keeps the recorded top speed either. I stick it to the center dash speaker grill. It is not in agreement with the onboard data, but from what I gather the Dragy is pretty accurate so I ignore the built in SRT data.

Yea.. im sure not the most accurate.. but figured a fun mid-week thread. Whats the best youve seen on the built in performance pages?
