If there's any hint of a Gen 6 coming these forums will go wild with threads discussing how FCA needs to design, price and market the car and that's when the intense disagreements will really start. And if it doesn't have a massive NA V10 making at least 800 hp with a manual transmission you can just imagine the value threads then, lol! One thing's for sure...heads WILL explode!

I did purchase from Brad. Long story short I called GW Dodge and asked if they knew of anyone willing to sell a Viper. The salesman must have contacted Brad and asked if he would sell and the rest is history. This is my first Viper and I must say these cars are something special. I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity on this particular Viper given its history and the fact that it was never titled until I purchased.

Congrats and well done! You have a very special car right there. Too bad it's your first as you skipped right to the best of the bunch. You should drive a Gen I someday if you ever have the opportunity to see how far the Viper went from 1992 - 2017.

Thank you! I was very fortunate to have located and purchased this one! I will say that Brad was great to deal with and is a stand up guy. It would be great to get behind the wheel of a gen 1. It seems like there is some good info here, and I really like seeing the picture threads.

From what I have heard there may still be a few untitled 2017 Vipers(3-4ish cars), but I cannot confirm that number.

Why does this forum always degrade into personal attacks? I've been the recipient of such attacks and it makes me want to just say F' it and call it quits. Just read any thread about checking oil levels and you'll know what I mean. We all love the Viper, why isn't that enough? This site is to share information and ideas not to attack fellow enthusiasts. I have shared information that I've gotten directly from SRT engineers yet I am often crucified for it. This is crazy. Why do some people think that they are the only ones with the truth? We don't have to attack each other. I don't want to hear "He started it". Let's grow up and as my mom would say "two wrongs don't make a right".

Somehow value threads always generate heated debates that go too far. Why can't we just be happy that the Viper's value is holding up for now? As some has said who gives a rat's ass anyway? I own Vipers because I love the car, I belong to a great club that has great events, and I could care less if my car is worth more than I paid for it. I didn't buy it for an investment, that would be crazy. I drive and track mine. If I want to mod it I do. I have over 20,000 miles on each of them including my ACR/TA which some would say should be an investment. I say bull$hit, drive it like you stole it and enjoy life. Let's move on.
