Clutch Housing Dust Cover Damage

Hey there Forum, need some help/advice on this. Earlier this week while driving the Viper & I came across a brick or piece of concrete on the road I was on. When I noticed it, it was too late to avoid, so I felt committed and drive over it. When I did I heard a loud metal bang and went back home to assess what happened and looks like my Clutch Housing Dust cover (Part#05037330AD) was completely bent/altered. I've spent the past 2 days trying to find any Mopar Part online store and local dealerships with no luck. No matter what, my search ends in "Its Discontinued"

I have it removed for now, and I've driven it for a little bit with no issues, but if it was there, it was there for a reason and don't want to go on too long without this. Anyone have any resource that can help me get this part?

Same thing happened to me, same luck finding one. Mine was bent to heck and back and a torn bolt hole like yours. I just beat it back to original shape as best as possible and epoxied the torn bolt hole. It looks and fits just fine now and works. I would like to find a new one due to my OCD, but I feel ya man.

I just beat it back to original shape as best as possible and epoxied the torn bolt hole. It looks and fits just fine now and works. I would like to find a new one due to my OCD, but I feel ya man.

A small piece of Galvalume roofing sheet metal, some tin snips and a drill would do just as well. A local roofing or HVAC shop would probably give you several pieces of "drops" for free. I you're not comfortable doing it yourself, either one would probably fix you up for a nominal fee.

If anyone needs a clutch inspection plate and cant find one we mfg them. We have a race sfi spec steel scatter proof bell housing that we mfg. The clutch inspection plate we build for this kit is very similar to the factory inspection plate. We dont list this on our website because its an in house race part. But if people were really jammed up and couldn't find a factory clutch inspection plate we could build a few.

That one will be good to go for years. If you had bought a new one instead, you would have hit another hard object and bent that one up within 30 days. At least that is how it works in my universe.
