09 ACR With all the goodies
99 ACR TT 99 red RT/10 Roe S/C
97 B/W RT/10 TT 94 RT/10 TT
see thats what Old Cornpop was looking for!...good advice!
Nobody is insulting you.
yeah...you went all mexi-phobic on old Cornpop.
Nice assumption but you are wrong. Your post isn't even close to being from someone who speaks Spanish as a first language. Luckily, I have experience with that as two of my employees speak spanish first and I can decipher their emails just fine. Your incoherent rambling is nothing like spanish mixed with english. It's closer to lazy.
That assumption proves more about you than anyone else.
That F car is junk. Less maintenance with a 430 but still get crappy clutch. 458 has dual clutch and is mostly oil and tires but even then sticky buttons and junk battery/electronics. I just got rid of a Maserati: what a relief.
Now way on a 360, huge step down.
A dealer is never going to offer you something that is to your advantage. He wants that car gone, probably because it is a nightmare waiting to happen (if it hasn't already), and wants you to believe it is a good deal.
360....Lol! Surprised anyone would even consider that deal.
Take the 03,360 and run. Excellent deal for the cornpop.
I like the 458 and 488 but Honestly there are just so many of them it becomes nothing special.
The Viper on the other hand is also a hand built car, and unless you are going to a club meet, you are unlikely to see another on the road.
It's nice to stand out from the crowd and as others have said, there is a huge difference on maintenance costs.
At the end of the day it's your choice.
Vipers are now being recognised in concourse events and prices on certain models are rising, so personally I would keep the Dodge.
Old Cornpop deleted his post to Stroker who apparently cant decipher sarcasm and kidding...musta missed the Biteme-Hairy rally.
If you’re even considering this, then you must be a super F car enthusiast, or you’re not liking the viper or you’re tired of it. Otherwise seems like a serious step down to me. I’d also think you could do much better selling the viper, which is generally always the case. You don’t say what gen5 you have; is it a ‘13 SRT base, a ‘17 ACRE GTC, something in between, the value difference across viper years and options now is $100k+. So this could be almost an OK deal, or a ridiculously bad deal depending on what model and options you have.
I am always surprised how hard it is for some people to form simple sentences.
Damn buncha English syntax experts in here.....lighten up people and Ill measure brain pans with any of you genus' anytime.I was simply stating a situation im involved in to get another perspective from a group Ive been a member of for years.....I appreciate the views of this group but dayyyuuumm.....
When it takes forum members extra time to decipher your special version of written English, you're inevitably going to get some of these responses. You'd be doing us all a favor if you took the extra time to form complete sentences and used proper spelling and punctuation.
Back to the topic though, I like the idea of adding an old mid engine Ferrari to the stable, but not necessarily replacing the Viper with one. A 360 would leave a lot to be desired coming from a more modern driver's car with almost twice the power.
ax me why man...no one know. I's gots to get goin...cya.
I'm surprised no one asked if the 360 was a manual. I'm assuming it is and the dealer is wanting $100k for it? Just to be clear, your buying a car they made more of, has 245hp less, and is less reliable. There were 3,913 Gen 5 Vipers made and roughly 4,100 360's made. I will say the 360's have aged well. At the end of the day it's your money so do what you want and enjoy.
