Drivers Seat Rail To fabricate custom rail

Hey all! So I’ve had no luck at all so far trying to get a factory rail back for the drivers seat of the my car. Will anyone who has their factory rail (power seat preferred) be willing to send the rail to me so I can have a local machine shop fabricate me a custom rail based on the stock rail measurements? I would return your stock rail to you once the rail is completed. Let me know, thanks!

Again this is what I was told, not sure if it is true or if the part you posted is correct. Thanks.

You could probably call them to ask. If not, check their return policy and it might be worth it to give it a shot or pay a small fee to return it. I would think it'd be much more economical than having one fabricated. It seems like it is what you need based on the part diagrams I am seeing. https://www.moparpartssurplus.com/a/.../i2293639.html

The only thing I don’t get it why does it show only one rail for the “left” riser.

Check out the second link I posted. It's got 2 part numbers for "left" and "right". Description says its for both driver and pass sides, so they seem to be interchangeable. It is pretty steep price for the pair, but again I have no idea what fabrication costs would be like. Best of luck!

Definitely a steep price haha. Thanks for the input.

I mean if we can locate one I don’t mind finding a machine shop to make them and supply them to those who want stock ones back.

Yea that’s crazy expensive. I’m hoping someone will send me theirs that on a shelf so I can have a machine shop fabricate a replica one for a few hundred.

Was able to call them and the part is back ordered with no eta. So that means no go on that. . Next option is to take HGH and grow another inch or two.

It will be very hard to find a machine shop or job shop that isnt crazy busy for the next 6-18 months. It will also be far more expensive then couple hundred dollars unfortunately. You might try the local high school if they have metal shop. You can also try local trade schools or Junior college if they have trades program they are always looking for real world learning opportunities.

Not sure if you tried reaching out to SilveRT8, who may be willing to sell you the factory spacer he removed.

I have my factory spacer on the shelf, but the cost of shipping it back and forth and then cost to design & fabricate something based off it isn't likely to be much cheaper than just buying it outright.

I'd beat the mopar online price per rail, but unfortunately, knowing they're hard to get means most people probably won't let them go for real cheap.

Thanks for the info but that is entirely too much. Appreciate it though!

I must have not gotten that memo. What's happening in the next 6 to 18 months that I haven't heard about?
