    Floods Fires and Covid Fears

Hard to believe that Lake Charles , Louisiana and beyond are getting hit again by a Hurricane? Add to this the Fires in California , Covid and the economic disruptions caused by all of these issues it would be great if Club Members keep us updated on their safety, concerns and struggles. So many of us have Viper friends all over the US ( and the World ) and I know many have been impacted by all the terrible events. I know some of my friends and customers are really struggling and this Hurricane in the Gulf makes one feel for all those in that area ( and we do have quite a few Members down there) . Throw in California ( with3 big Regional Clubs ) and the fires devastating their State, it would be great to hear from some of the Presidents out there on how folks are doing? Covid is bad enough, but it seems so many are at risk of other things too and I know many folks I have tried to contact are not answering, so it would be great for members, Regional Presidents or Officers , etc. to chime in and give us all an update on how folks are doing? There are many Club Members who don't frequent the Forum a lot, so Regional Reports would be quite helpful imho.

Wishing the best for VOA and just hoping Club Members are weathering all the various Storms/Disasters of 2020!

    Take care!

Reaching out and checking in like that is something we need more of In our great nation. Hopefully everyone is hanging in there. I’m up at the northern most part of Illinois and we are fortunate enough to not have to take on fires and hurricanes. My best wishes goes out to all who are struggling with these trying times Stay strong, stay safe.

Don't forget that 92 percent of all oil and gas is interrupted in the Gulf. More disruption for people all over the area, even if you are not directly in the impact zone of the storm.

Good point , Patent, I happen to have quite a few Viper friends in the oil/gas industry and I know it has been a mess for many , even more so with other layoffs. Gotta keep those folks in our thoughts I definitely agree........thanks for pointing that out!

The North East is well except for the fact that ít will vote blue in a few weeks. If those wack-a-doodles get elected, 20% of our pensions will disappear instantly...

Whack a doodle?.........This thread is about fires and floods. Why is this political?

Your comments are very very strange........

If you think that the fires, covid and natural diasters have zero political component to the manner in which they are being addressed then that's strange indeed.

In an election year, everything is political.

Unfortunately and like it or not, politics play a major role in how those matters are dealt with.
