    Expel

I gotta tell everybody Expel just saved my Stryker Purple paint job.Turning right onto a surface road I noticed a dump truck about 100 yards ahead in my lane....as quick as I could I went to move to next lane on right and slow up.I got about half way and heard what sounded like a large rock hit the drivers side pillar or top of car.Sounded like somebody standing there hurling a rock at it.Whole car is wrapped and im not sure ive ever really liked it due to seams noticable.Had it looked at by an installer and they said it was a good job...I didnt have it done,1st owner did.I always thought it might take away from the intensity of the paint.Well driving home I was deathly afraid of what I would find....Nothing...not even a breach in the Expel....Im a HUGE fan !

The other day I ended up behind a trailer some guy had filled with loose gravel. He was spraying the entire freeway with this shit. I had to exit just to get way from this guy. Been thinking I need at least the front done. Houston roads are filled with that crap. I just get nervous thinking about removing it and having the paint come up or something. But I guess that’s pretty rare

I’ve had Expel, Suntek and Llumar. Hands down Expel wins in my opinion.

It will not tear your paint off....those that put it on know how to take it off.

On a slightly related note ...... is it possible to repair a chip in the exposed carbon wing?
I had a similar thing happen to me this summer. About 2 months ago, I'm out for a drive in the ACR-E and a large dump truck pulls onto the highway in front of me,
throwing all sorts of crap around. 90% of the car is covered in Expel, but in a lapse of judgement I didn't cover the wing.
Now I've got a good size "chip" in exposed CF wing

I used to use Lotus 123; but, then I switched over to Excel and used it for years in my work. King of spreadsheets.

For paint protection film, I have used and like XPEL brand.

More people should know about Autoflex Express (AE). My full car ppf was yellowing and getting brittle so I removed it and had AE applied instead.

AE is essentially a sprayable wrap that looks, feels, and acts like paint. It costs about the same as full expel, is a little bit thicker, lasts 10 years, can be any color you want and can be removed as easily if not easier than vinyl. Only thing is the product has quite a bit of orange peel so a cut/buff or flow coat is needed to make it live up to my standards.

My car is white and black under this:
