Slick tire and matched wheel options for ACR e

planning on tracking my 17 acr extreme more this spring and am looking for tire options that provide better longevity compared to the kumhos.

What specific wheel and slick combos have people been running with good results?
Lots of factors to consider including sizing. 18inch wheels that clear ccbs, preventing tc and abs issues, load ratings due to downforce etc.

    Any guidance is appreciated

I think "we" all run Michelins with good success. (In "we" I mean Ralph Gilles, Gary Wimble, Michael Merrit, multi track record holder Cable Rosenberg, and many others) I also have run Pirelli's and they work well.

    Michelin's in 30/65/18 front and 31/71/18 rear.
Pirellis 305/645/18 front and 325/705/18 rear

I buy scrubs. Last exponentially longer than the Kumho's on the front and cost about $150 per tire.

Wheels I use CCW TS12, Finspeed and Signature forged wheels. I have a set of each. I know that Forgelines work well also and may be the lightest out of any choice. 18x11 or 12 in front, I have both, and 18x13 rear.

You could start with Hoosier's on the stock wheels for a while, but money no object get some 18X13 and 18X12 Forgeline's built and run the Michelin slicks (Pirelli's last longer but are lot more expensive).
With 18's you WILL experience rocks scuffing the calipers and wheel barrels.

Thanks gents! That just about covers it.

Up next, researching and figuring out a trailer solution.

I'm looking to sell my Forgeline wheels. I have two sets. I went with 19" rears and 18" fronts. I run Michilin slicks on these and have two brand new sets if interested.

I'm terribly sorry guys. I didn't realize I posted WRONG specs. The fronts are 18x12. Rears are 19x13. Here are the last set of Michelin I purchased...MIC-29855 - Michelin Race 30/65-R18 S9M
    MIC-32239 - Michelin Race 31/71-R19 S9M

Again, guys I got married legally in NY last week for my elderly parents who can't travel and I'm having our "formal" reception in a few hours here in Ohio, coupled with a shoulder replacement upon my return from a short honeymoon. I'm a bit out of my mind right now.

    My apologies to all again.
