    Oil Pressure Dropping

I noticed my oil pressure dropped when I would accelerate.
Up towards redline it would drop to 0 but car ran fine.
Had Woodhouse check it out when had the exhaust put on and they found out the oil pressure was good but the instrument cluster was reading incorrectly which then threw the P0014 Bank1 Camshaft code.
They updated the computer and cluster is now showing I have oil pressure on acceleration.
Just in case anyone else runs into this issue...

Thanks for posting. I've not heard of this problem before. Glad Woodhouse got it figured out.

What was updated? They flashed the PCM? Seems if there is a new flash, everyone should have it? Sorry, but I'm confused.

I’m not fully sure myself but this is what I was told...
Yes there is a computer updater that fixing that exact issue. Oil pressure actual reading is normal on computer, it is the instrument cluster that is acting up, not the motor which is very good.

Lots of things don't add up in that explanation...

If only happening at redline, then sensor may be going bad. Threw the code but Woodhouse unable to replicate so cleared it out. Thats my guess. Or maybe they changed out your sensor and updated your car w latest flash. Do you have the paperwork they gave you when you picked it back up?

I was going to ask the same. If there is an update PCM flash available, all stock cars should get it.

This is the reason I prefer old school, mechanical gauges. The readings haven't been sanitized/filtered by software.
