No but alot of the 5th gen ACR's have the woodhouse tow hook installed.

If you dont have a tow hook we sell them front and also rear hidden flip down. tkomotorsports.com

Thanks! LMK what you recommend for my ACR-E and I'll order them this week.
In the meantime, I'm heading to the track today, do you have any recommendations on what to do if I need to be towed out of a dirt trap? I'm not planning on pushing it to the limit today but stuff happens and I should've prepared ahead of time. Don't want to ruin everyone else's day due to my lack of preparation!

Wish we had better recommendation for your track day ..........dont go off track. There is no way to pull a viper out of anything without doing damage unless you have tow hooks.
Have a good time, be safe

The Woodhouse front tow hook is actually from IPSCO.org. IPSCO also makes a rear tow hook for the ACR that comes out through the rear bumper opening. It is strong as hell, I've been towed with it. You might also want to consider IPSCO's underdrive pulley. It spins your accessories a little slower when you are at high RPMs on the track. Supposedly adds a few horses as well.

The TKO hooks look good too but Mark Johnson of IPSCO is a personal friend of mine (Sorry TKO, but I do love your stuff!). In fact my wife and I are going Jeepin with him and his wife this Friday.

Is there any other rear tow hook available besides the TKO model mentioned? It looks sturdy as hell, but I think a little to big for my taste. The IPSCO model shows discontinued on their website.

Track day was a great success! Definitely need to figure out what tow hooks to go with for next season though. Would also like something simple, no drilling/cutting required, and small/clean.

Call Mark Johnson. He made another batch of the rear tow hooks.

I can take a few a bit later if someone else doesn't post them first. Still early here in Colorado. The tow hook installation requires you to remove both rear tires, the access panel in the inner fender liner (secured with plastic push tabs. There is a hole that needs to be drilled in the rear of the passenger side frame member. It will be completely invisible even if you remove the tow hook later. Then you attach the hook's bars to the existing frame hold downs. Install is not hard and when you are done you only have the tow hook loop sticking out from the opening in the back bumper.

My ACR/TA was used by Mark to develop the prototype which is still on the car. My GTS has the production part.

You'll be fine! Just leave your stability control on lol. With most organizations if you went off and got stuck they would take the time to get your car out without destroying it. Which track are you at?

Ridge motorsports park in shelton wa, will be hitting pacific raceways and portland in the spring.

Yep, wasn't difficult at all to keep her on track lol, just rather be safe than sorry. Ounce of prevention goes a long way, etc.
Here's a vid from onboard yesterday. Biggest focus was stay smooth and preventing understeer to keep the front tires alive as I had to drive 2 hours there and 2 hours home.
Especially in turn 6, the long left hand sweeper, which happens to be my favorite corner to really push a car on. This thing can handle that corner MUCH faster than I was pushing! So impressive.

Dan, glad all went ok and that track looks great

Funny you should ask about factory tow hooks, been on Porsche’s for a very long time. Surprised with all the ACR track specific upgrades they didn’t add removable tow hooks

Our tow hook is a flip down hidden tow hook. You dont see it when its not in use. It doesn't disturb aero on the car, Its in the proper location and proper color for sanctioning bodies, less likely to cause body damage because its in the proper location, much easier to get to when you need it or if unfortunately corner workers need to use it. Its also much lighter then you think and extremely strong. We use our tow hooks to tie down our cars in the hauler.

Some pics of the IPSCO rear hook on my GTS. Same on the ACR. Sorry that the ones behind the bumper didn't come out better.

Agreed. Pretty much every German car I've ever owned, sedans, suv's etc, all have a place to screw in a tow hook

Not to sideline, but I have two of these hangy-downy IPSCO rear loops new in box if anyone happens to be looking. They do not fit with an ACR Extreme diffuser, but fit all the others.

In case anyone is in the market.

Yes, this one was designed for the ACR since the older IPSCO hooks would interfere with the ACR's diffuser. The new design is more expensive than the older version but it is more substantial and is discrete (you can unscrew and remove the foldable loop). It is much easier for track workers to get to than the old design that sits well under the car. If you were in gravel it would be hard for track workers to get to those older hooks. They are excellent for tying your car down on a trailer though.

By the way IPSCO now makes the fold down loop for the older front tow hooks that you have.

That looks like a busy/fun track. I've got the Ipsco front tow hook on mine and install was roughly 15 minutes. You can also remove the tow hook in about two minutes or less once the clamp is installed. Very functional. I'm probably going to go with their rear tow hook that does require some drilling into the frame rails though. I like the design and also the red tow ring almost matches my paint (yes I'm a geek like that).
