    Big Aero

Doug Shelby sent me these pics of a customer he has in Sweden. Pretty cool stuff. Could actually make use of the rear wing on other settings besides #1 with this splitter. Extended diffuser too

That car won't push in the corner

That looks pretty intense. I wonder if this is for continuous road course use or like those time trials JDM cars with the super aero that are going for one uber lap?

It does remind me of a Viper wide body carbon fiber kit designed about 10 years ago by a French guy named Terry....It actually looked very good in my eyes with a claimed 300 lb weight drop.

He called it the Viper X10.

Looks as intense as that EVO that runs out here. I like the raised outer ends of the splitter - a lot easier on the speed curbing.

AZ, that looks like a Pikes Peak set up

Check out Terry’s X-10. Fast as hell, but he’s a great driver. Stock G3 motor with a 3:73 rear end. Check out his times at Chuckwalla in that Viper

    That's wild looking!

How does it fit on a trailer?

Terry ran that car with a special 6 speed, very low gears, here he needed 6th gear alot from what I remember.

Carl, I spoke to him last week. Had been doing some Honda Challenge but now does a lot of drifting. He told me he was an instructor out at the BMW school in Thermal

It may be great aero but it looks ridiculous even for a racecar.

More ridiculous than a double-stacked splitter?

These guys aren't concerned about looks, just lap times. This is car that won GTA at COTA this year, he ran a 2.07 LOL-

Thankfully he won't be at Buttonwillow in November when I'll be there, they are doing a complete rebuild.

The guy has the right idea - it won't win any car shows, but it will get track records - functionality trumps everything! Because race car

That guy runs the Nordic Time Attack series.
I believe he won the Time Attack series for stock street car last year in the Viper, but I'm probably wrong on that one.
As far as I've understood, he's one hell of a driver.

I do wonder why he hasn't gone for TKO's plunging long endplates too...Perhaps they don't work together with the other stuff? Don't know.
And that's the thing with any aero mods. Unless you can test the
car in a proper windtunnel some of it may not actually be as functional as we think. Just saying

I'd have to guess nobody in Global Time Attack or similar programs have access to wind tunnels, it's all done by trial and error with lap times. They obviously know what they are doing.
The guy that owns this car is a good friend of mine, his shop works on my car, he built all this with his own hands, no wind tunnel, just lap times and his car will smoke mine or any other car on this forum-

If you really want to laugh, look at these pics. And yeah the front wing worked so well that Nasa banned front wings. LOL This car is about 1-2 seconds behind me at most events and has 300whp. He ran a 1.52 at Chuckwalla with 300whp, unreal.
