    Car starts has no throttle

Hey having a small issue, car was running fine. Then randomly stalled at a light, started rite back up fine, kept driving next light stalled again. Did this a couple times when I was on my way home, took it back out a couple hrs later it didn’t stall at all, went to move it Into the garage about an hr later and there was no throttle, car starts fine, idles fine, but nothing when you hit the gas, it’s an 08 with 9000km’s

Battery is new, this happened a couple days after swapping out the old one, had no cel, but we scanned it a couple times and found a couple codes p1628, p2104, p2166, p2167, these didn’t come up all at once

If you are pressing the gas pedal and the engine isn't responding, it has somehow lost the throttle body calibration. I don't know how that could have happened, but I also don't know the full details of your vehicle.

The only reason I mention this is because it has happened to me, but I was the cause. During the process of testing the HPTuners throttle relearn function, I ended up doing it incorrectly, and the result was exactly what you are describing - press the gas, and nothing happened. Engine idled just fine, everything else completely normal. I ended up doing the throttle relearn again, and that took care of it.

You might try disconnecting the battery for ~10 minutes, and then give it another whirl. If it is still doing the same thing, you'll probably have to find someone that has the correct tools to do the throttle relearn procedure.

It was a good thought, and points to one of the downsides to owning one of the later gens - when something like this goes wrong, you can't just pop the hood and look for something simple like a cable popping off. There's something to be said for keeping things simple, especially when you literally can't drive the car if something like this happens.
