    Exactly. I was pleasantly surprised at the accuracy ... and then it went to hell! LOL

    A few pretty clear errors:

    "a GTS will command around $20,000-$30,000 more than a comparable RT/10" Don't think so.

    "Early Vipers (think 1991-1993) suffered from piston ring issues, which led to high oil consumption problems." Find me that 1991, it should be quite valuable.

    And of course the last line. Ha! JonB want the FULL experience?

    I don't think so either. I believe the RT/10 will be at least as collectable if not more so than the GTS one day. The RT/10 is the original body style for the Viper. A true icon. And there were far fewer RT/10 roadsters built than coupes.

    Almost. Still has this line: "Of course, having all of those things means spending more money—a GTS will command around $20,000-$30,000 more than a comparable RT/10."

    So if a later Gen 2 RT/10 goes for say 45k GTS would be around 70k? I don't know the numbers but doubt the difference is more than a few thousand on average.

    Seems like either I skipped some earlier or the review is getting bigger! Great work.

    All Vipers will soon be worth over a half a million dollars....... They're the next Ford GT.

    I could have sworn that I read that right here on this very forum. So it has to be true...Right

    Thanks for posting, it now reads the VOA at the end.

    A few more inaccuracies;

    "It’s worth noting that before you commit to an ACR, you should take into account the model’s lack of air conditioning and stereo."

    The IVR Data says only 38 of the 818 G2 ACR's didn't have the Comfort Group option

    "Picked up a parking lot bump and need to replace your clamshell hood? Don’t be surprised when you get hit with a five-figure bill to replace it."

    That used to be the case, I had a $14K warranty repair bill back in 1997, now there are new hoods around for $2000 and I see $500 decent used hoods on cCaig's list.

    It seems like all Vipers are holding their own these days. Some more than others, however.

    It sure looks like the asking prices for most Gen's are at an all time high.

    Is anybody buying these car at the prices listed that would be the defining factor.

    I'm talking about in the real world where car buying decisions are sometimes made with a little less testosterone and alcohol involved as at some of these auctions.

    Boy it sure must be hard for the few that can only look at their Viper knowing that they don't dare drive it or there dreams of riches just gets that much farther away from them with every mile driven.

    I wonder what would one do if in a few years of looking at your low mileage ACR in your garage and then you finally sell it for the big bucks. Would it not be kind of silly to try and buy another Viper? That is if you could even afford one.

    So what's left I wonder ......Maybe go and buy a corvette?

    My wish would be that everyone gets exactly what they want for or from their Vipers. I believe what you get from the experience of driving these cars as well as the people you cross paths with wile doing so is something you really can't put a price on.

    I daily drive mine.. important thing is keeping up on the maintenance and conditi`n of the car.. replace things as the wear out, etc. a great condition superbird or cobra goes for big bucks... nobody caes about how many miles arw on a 40 year old car.... its all condition.
