Anyone else receive this email from Dodge?:
Thoughts?
Some combination of hellcat/redeye powered cars/trucks im sure.. i could only hope for 10 895hp gen vi vipers.
Hellaphant ??? Challenger?
Thinking it may be Charger Hellcat Red Eye and Durango SRT Hellcat.
Wouldn't mind seeing the 426 somewhere in the mix.
Someone already did the calculations in an article. Two new variants or hellcat based engines to be used in other models. Yippee......so excited.
Oddly, I was just trying to factor their numbers too. I went to Dodge's webzone and as we all know, there are five models under the Dodge brand. Challenger, Charger, Durango, Journey, and the Grand Caravan. This is a Dodge email, so no Jeeps or Rams allowed.
Each model has its own range of engines and multiple models use the same engine. In a simplified order with the multiplier, if available, in parentheses. These represent the number of models of each model that are available.
Challenger: 303hp (x3), 375hp (x2), 485hp (x4), 717hp (x2), and 797hp (x2).
Charger: 292hp, 300hp, 370hp, 485hp (x2), and 707hp.
Durango: 293hp (x2), 295hp (x4), 360hp, and 475hp.
Journey: 173hp (x3) and 293hp.
Grand Caravan: 283hp (x5)
If you add up the horsepowah from every available model, you get 14,084hp. This is not what was done.
If you add up only each unique powah rating from each model, you get 6,993hp.
Clearly, the answer is somewhere in the middle. For example, 8,950hp - 6,993hp = 1,957hp leftover.
I'd guess that we'll see a Charger Redeye andddd maybe a Hellcatted Durango? They could use the AWD driveline from the Trackhawk. That's 1,957hp - 797hp - 707hp, leaving 453hp on the table. I bet there's not going to be any high performance Journey or Grand Caravan, so where else do you spread power? Moderate bumps across the line? An extra 50hp on the V6 cars would be easy.
I'm not going to stay up late trying to factor our "Dodge Math". I'll just wait and see!
Nth moto and Calvo need to make a video response to this saying thanks Dodge, we got it from here, and two vehicles from each builder doing over 2500hp. Lol, 4 cars total putting down in excess of 10,000hp.
Got the email, assumed a Hellcat Durango was in the mix. Not sure what else.
I've heard about them putting the hellcat engine in the Ram 1500. I sure hope it's not a hellcat Durango. If so, my wife may force that one on me.

Here is the 1500 - https://www.motortrend.com/news/2021...photos-rumors/
Hellcat Ram and Hellcat Durango..
Likely to include the RAM TRX.
For the life of me I don't get putting a 700HP motor in a 5000+ tub that is for hauling kids around. But what do I know.
Definitely going to be a Hellcat Durango
Spinning Isn't Winning, Family Fun, Give Them Hell
I am holding out for the Hellcat Grand Caravan........
As for the above, I think all the people in Texas named Cletus or Festus are already lined up at the door with cash in hand.........
Dare to dream...next in line....the Hellcat Journey......
And then, the Voodoo editions of the above.....
And then the upgraded Fine Corinthian Leather
I think they are dropping the Van and Journey from the lineup
wish they would come out with some new models, viper replacement and updated/lighter chassis.. the powertrain folks and design studio has been the saving grace for the brand..
Yeah how many challenger variants can ya do?
I'll be out at Carlisle next week, so I'm sure they'll have them out there.
