I am running the ACRX can on mine.
I went acrx catch can and exotic engines valve cover breathers.
Just ordered the one from justin at JMB...150$ shipped with black wrinkle finish...I'll let ya guys know in a few weeks..it's a breather (inline) style ...
I might install my homegrown setup this weekend. Been too lazy about it.
I used a JMB catch can with matte black crinkle finish. I had Justin PC the valve covers and the coil covers in the same crinkle finish

I want to order the JMB catch can, but i cant find the instructions to determine if it works on a viper. The only can it shows is for the srt10 truck. Are the engine bays the same?

do any of you have a recommendation for the Gen III? I have an 06 coupe with headers, high flows and corsa...and though I haven't had any problems, I figure a catch can never hurts. Mostly street use. A few track days here and there. A sealed street setup is fine for light track use, right?
This JMB looks nice and extremely affordable. It indicates it is for the pickup truck though. Will it work on the Gen III Viper?
Thanks for reading and your input.
I also would like to know what colour matches the viper specialty oil lines
I'm new to "catch-cans" does anyone know if one is made for gen 4 drag pack intake?
Got any pics?
It really depends on what you want to do...if you want to run a vented catch can (like the ACR-X can), it doesn't matter what intake manifold you run since you won't be hooking it back to the intake manifold. The only time it would matter is if you were running a closed loop can (like what I have) that hooks back to the intake manifold. In that case, you just need a handy vacuum port that you can hook it to.
Like cubican's photos in this thread.

I emailed them and they said while they don't have it listed on the website but they make one for the gen III Viper. They said to order it and just include in the comments that it is for a Viper and not the pickup. I responded to the email asking if it comes with mounting brackets and hardware, I will let you know what the answer it on that as soon as they respond. I didn't send the email untill tonight though so probably not till tomorrow.
Is this the one that you were looking at?

Per their email response "catch can is vented, comes with everything needed for install. "
Also I asked about doing the gloss red crinkle and told him I had a red car and he said he recommends that for matching the valve covers nicely.
So, for me being mostly a street guy, what does the vented mean for me vs non vented?
Just give justin a call..He is the owner and most likely will answer..He has options for all generations. Seen his stuff on the truck side,he does great work... Had one of his catch cans. It is of the vented design and I never really noticed much coming out of the breather. My truck had 30k on it, some track duty mostly spirited street driving...

I used this billet can, vented valve cap, no need for a filter20130606_214745.jpg
I was concerned about a vented catch can on a non track car
Why are you concerned? is it dangerous?
