    Twin turbo build

    Greeting from Kuwait
I just bought a 2013 gts looking to twin turbo target horse power is around 2000+ whp sequential gear box. Just wanted to check in, introduce myself and pick your brains with the vast experience you guys have with the viper. The car will have a long block from a engine builder in the US and for the sequential considering 6xd. We will do the turbo kit in Kuwait. The shop in Kuwait is called Xtremeperformance. He built my billet block alpha x GTR , installed and tuned Motec on my Dallas Performance Huracan. My zr1 and many more of my current and previous cars. I’ll also keep you guys updated with the build. I am on page 88 in the gen 5 forums so I am getting there.

Awesome, I am looking forward to seeing the progress. I wish more owners tore into these cars themselves. These cars are very easy to wrench on and modify. You will find a lot of Gen V owners jut pay viper shops to do the actual work and just touch superficial stuff themselves. Here's my self installed heads/cam/valvetrain/clutch/transmission thread which has some helpful advice here and there. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Cheers!

bad ass build man! love the color combo

So we are going with Axiom Race Engines in Houston TX to do the Long block. Talking to 6xd to build a custom ratio sequential with pedal shift. As for the clutch we are looking into the quad mantic. We bought the Motec from our friends in Induction Performance using John read M150 PnP kit with some extra options.
Anyone out there tried the clutch ? or has the 6xd sequential on a high horsepower car?

Is this the Faisal that I spoke with on the phone just yesterday about building an engine and supplying components for you guys? It sounds like you have a lot of decisions made already and that's great, I wish you luck with your project. As a piece of information, to my knowledge I've never seen a Mantic quad exist yet, or at least not known of as a working solution in a high power Viper. All current major Viper builders out there use our carbon clutches.

And the 6XD transmission has not been used in a high power Viper yet - we test fit one and did the mockup work for RTS on the shifter system and transmission mount for the Gen V chassis just recently and plan to test one as soon as their done with the manual lever shifter. The air shift/paddle system should fit without tunnel work so long as you're creative with the line routing, but it's not a readily available drop in solution just quite yet. The hydraulics need sorted out as well, which we are working on with them to utilize our clutch as the easy, and desired, option.

    Shlonik brother!

Where in Kuwait are you? My apartment is in Mahboula but I'm currently at a hotel at Sharq because of the lockdown.

    Xtremeperformance in Kuwait, in Shwaik?

Induction Performance out of Florida? That's not far from my house. Alpha tuned David's record holding 400+ kmh Viper.

I have a 2008 coupe out here, black red stripes, the one that smacked the guardrail at KMT circuit back in December. I'm repairing it at New Design Garage in Shwaik.

Do you know Mohammad Al-Salem (Viper guy)?

As for the Mantic Quad Clutch https://manticclutchusa.com/products...17-dodge-viper

We found a lot of help from our friends in 6xd passionate guys who love what they do. We got one with all the goodies in it with custom ratio. They needed time to build the transmission and test it themselves. We have time until winter its 140 outside now. We use our race cars during the winter only..
thank you for your help and kind words

Our friends at D3 hooked us up with the fuel system.

    thankfully everyone has been helpful

    Faisal,

Sweet! you are just down the road from me. Either Mahboula or Sharq, you are in between. Yah, I spend some time at the Drag strip at KMT, I probably saw your cars. Although, I don't remember a Hurrican at the track. Maybe I've seen it at Biddah Friday mornings. I've seen a green one in Sabeh Al Salem and around Kuwait. There is a TT Gen5 Viper in Kuwait, black, another Mohammad. It was at the first KMT Drag event last year I think April 2019. Mansour in Qatif, KSA has a TT 2006, UGR build. Not many forced induction Vipers with the heat in GCC.
    I'm watching my inbox.

So to be honest we bought most of the parts without buying the car yet . So in Kuwait when you buy a used car both parties take the car to a trusted inspection shop (only 3-4 in the country). For $100 they check everything from chassis body engine trans and you get an inspection Report and that's basically what you base your deal on. If the seller was not truthful about the damages in the car then the buyer has the right to pull out of the deal and let the seller pay for the inspection. Everything was perfect with the car except some stuff on the paint that I can take care of. So the car has had its battery out for the last two years that is why it is in this condition. Its is getting paint correction and ppf ill show you the end results in a couple of days
