Pemberton finally to retire this June

Well, this is my first post on any Forum or other social media, but to be honest the bulk of my long term friends live here at VOA. Like so many others , in life, when they finally decide it is time to move on to other things in life , it is quite difficult to close the current chapter of their life. The wonderful thing , for me, is I will stay active here , since so many of you have the same passion I do for the Viper. What better place to stay in touch with those you care about than with a Club ( and Forum ) of other individuals who understand how much this four wheeled contrivance is embedded into our DNA. My email ( billpemberton@woodhouse.com ) will go dead in early June , and I am sure that will seem bizarre to me since it has been active since 1994 when I started at Woodhouse Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram. My phone will not be changing , at present , and of course I will eventually get another email address set up , but that is not a big issue since many of you have dropped me PMs here on the VOA Forum.

I am just putting this out there, as I know some of you may attempt to contact me at Woodhouse for questions , concerns , or Sales , and if an email is sent, getting no response will appear I am not there to help, and hopefully dropping this note will let folks know I do still care and will try and get you to the right person. I can still direct you to the right persons to chat with if you are interested in any of the vehicles our 18 Stores sell.

Lastly, Mark Jorgensen is still with Woodhouse running the Service, Parts Dept. and more at the new Bentley Store and he has started to ramp up the Motorsports Division again ( though not at our previous level ) and he has been working on plenty of Vipers in 2020.

Thanks to so many of you for your patronage, friendship , and being part of my life, because you made what is supposed to be a job into a love affair I actually got paid to do.

    Respectfully,

    Bill Pemberton

The toll free for Woodhouse is 800-889-1893 for Parts , Mark Jorgensen , Service, etc., but I am not in the office at this time.

Bill, your contribution to the Viper community can not be overstated. You have been the foundation for Woodhouse along with Mark helped to build this community to what it is today. Thank you for everything you have done and continue to do and congrats on your retirement.

So with all the extra time you will have, I am guessing you will be spend the deserved time with the family?

Thanks everyone, and 99RT10 getting Mark Jorgensen hired to help me back in 2003 was the best thing I ever did for Woodhouse. It makes life easier for me knowing that so many of our Viper friends will still have him at the Company , especially since he is back doing plenty of work on Snakes ( and his main Tech has a TA himself ).

More track time , but the scary thing is with less time at work that means more rambling on and on on various Viper threads so that could be dangerous to VOA members, ha.

Congrats Bill! I've really enjoyed our conversations, your insight and guidance over the years, thank you. I won't believe you're retired until you post a picture of you on the front porch in the rocky chair. Hope you enjoy some well deserved R&R.

    Congrats on your retirement, Bill.

As you step back a bit from your industry, realize that to many of us, you have indeed set the standards for honesty, integrity, service...and by so doing, you have gained the friendship and loyalty of countless customers and non-customers alike. You are the guy who has always "gone the extra mile" for our Viper community. You also leave the arena with the respect and admiration of your peers. Well done, Bill...well done !!
Enjoy the times and roads ahead as we wish you and your Family the very best !!!

Like many of you who are Petrolheads, Gearheads, Machineheads, Motorheads, etc. I am looking forward to doing a lot of things that time did not allow in the past, and .............many of those items are still automotive related. Thanks to all of you and your kind comments, as hard to express how much they mean to me , since so many of you I consider more friends than customers. I am not going away from the VOA, but I do hope to get more track time , cruises and just hanging out.

I had a fantastic track day experience with Mr. Pemberton back in 2004 @ No Problem Raceway, he was incredibly patient with me and I learned a lot!
