    Help pricing 70 000 mile 2006

    Hi

New to viper, I found this 2006 coupe locally.
The car have been in accident many years ago and Received a decent repair. No major flaws!

New clutch, and gearbox shift smoothly!

Engine start and run but might need some TLC (spark plug, ignition wire etc)

    Suspension needs overhaul!

What would be a realistic price?

This is a difficult area...and, generally involves much more than just the car. To me, it depends on your intended use, your mechanical ability/appetite/auto building history, and budget. If you are willing to open yourself to possible short and long term surprises, this car may work for you.
I would also add that many(probably the majority) would pass. Are you looking to make this a driver or a race car?

Price is a whole different subject...but, your reslistic offer should start to gel when you have an experienced Viper Tech inspect the car and start pricing out its needs. It then becomes a personal decision...as it should.

Others here appear to know more about pricing so hopefully they will chime in shortly.

Best of luck in your hunt...as they ARE fun cars !!!

There are less worrisome cars out there without "stories"...which to me may be a better value.

    Asking 15,000 $

The car was imported from USA Many years ago. Moved among 3 owners locally.

No dedicated viper mechanic available in the country. Dodge dealer failed to sell then. Only by special order for special clients.

I would like to drive it to work few days a week. It will be backed up by 89 corvette, 69 camaro ss and few other cars.

I can do some mechanic job myself.

    Thanks

If you posted the your location, you might find that a knowledgable Viper owner is nearby and could assist you with the evaluation.

It would be difficult for us in the USA to have a good idea of the value of a Viper in another country, like Sweden as an example. It seems to me that 15,000 $ would be a good price for a car already in country and if it had good compression and good leakdown test results. If no specialists locally, there could be some near enough to warrant transporting the car. Such as for my Sweden example, there is a Viper specialist in the Netherlands. While a fair distance away, folks in the USA will send their Vipers distances as far as that in order to get a trusted Viper specialist to work on a car/

Kind of funny when you think about it.....

The cost of insurance on the vehicle is a super large percentage of the yearly cost of the car. The actual capital cost, is loaned, is small. Have not really seen that on a Viper.......

The car has to be worth more in parts, honestly. You take a very small economic risk on this one.

$15k for any Viper is ridiculously low. This is the bargain of the century or a scam.
