    Vipers @ TX2K14 dyno day

Not much in the way of big HP Vipers, and that dyno at Henesseys is brutal. An 08 Viper with a filter and Corsa made an SAE corrected 497rwhp. Heads and Cam C6 Z06's were only making 515-530's so I wasn't expecting much out of mine. I made 615 two weeks ago so I figured based on what everyone else was making I would see 570 if I was lucky.

I made 595 . Not bad for a couple boltons. At the end of the day it was still the second highest NA number for the day.

What surprised me the most was that I made 98rwhp more than the other gen IV which had a filter and Corsa.

    Here's some photos from today

Flatout: never get tired of looking at pics of your car. Weird though, I thought TX20XX whatever was all about "1000+whp" cars. I guess I was wrong????

They're there just not on the dyno I guess. I thought I would get laughed out of there at 600rwhp, and then I took a look at the board from last year and decided to go out and say hi to some friends and see some cars. I really was expecting some bigger NA builds especially out of the C6 Z06 cars.

Ok so here's Hennesseys Gen V the exact same dyno WITH headers and 3 inch catback. Made 549 I guys my 595 is pretty good there considering how little is done to the car.

Quick sound clips of these two cars on the dyno.

My car has M&M's with no cats and 3 1/2 inch catback, and the 08 has a Corsa Catback only.

Yes that's SW's. Incredible car and the star of a huge gathering of great cars.

Here's a Henessey TT C7 Corvette on the same dyno making only 13rwhp more and 20ftlbs less torque:
