cash in hand and you still have nothing?
How much are you looking to spend seems like there are quite a few out there for sale if you have the right budget
Cash in hand means nothing unless you actually state how much
My steering wheel is gonna be in my hand....very shortly. Gonna be 75 degrees today in New England!
Up to $170k depending on configuration and particulars.
I’m sure you’re realizing this, but it’s pretty slim pickings right now when it comes to Vipers. There’s less than 50 Gen Vs to choose from nationwide, including non ACR-Es. Unless someone unloads their highly desirable 1 of 1 during this pandemic, you’re probably not going to find something that meets all of your criteria. Furthermore, those unloading will be asking way more than $170k.
There have been some good suggestions and leads from above. If you really want to get into an ACR-E, then grab one while you can. Prices will likely stay steady but may go up too. That VE Stryker Purple is everything you want minus CCBs. Do you have to have CCBs?
Did you post on F-chat and Rennlist that you have cash in hand before you got your CS and .2GT3? You are obviously an enthusiast and have great taste in cars....you don’t need our help to find you a Viper. It’s just kinda getting annoying when you post every few days that you still have cash in hand when a lot of people have been suggesting some good cars that are available. I wish you best of luck in your search. When you find that ACR-E that you’ve been dreaming of, let us know.
There is a thread I dislike in here so I don't click it.
I am aware of all the cars openly listed for sale, and none meet my rather reasonable requirements.
The purple one would be nice if the owner hadn't put iron brakes on it.
The white double stripers would be nice if they weren't track instruction cars.
The point of posting is to stir up some currently not for sale vipers, which it has been successful in doing, based on the PMs I've received and engaged with.
Gentlement, if the post annoys you so much, feel free to not open it.
For anyone who does have a purple, white with stripes, or other special configuration car available, feel free to email me as I am still on the hunt and hoping to buy one straight away.
I don’t find this annoying. The guy is just looking for the right car for him and the forum is just one channel he can try and find it. Dan, have you tried the Facebook Viper groups? Lots of owners there and I think you might find some luck. Someone directed me to that and I found my Orange TA when I was looking hard for one. There are 2 groups, Viper Owners Association and Viper Club Of America. Keep hunting!

Did you see the white 2017 ACRE for sale on cargurus?
Unfortunately (and ironically) one of the worst places to look for a Viper is on a Viper forum. Autotrader, cars. Com and dupont registry are your friends.
Did the VE car have CCB from the factory? And the owner swapped them out? Maybe still has them?
No, according to them, he specifically ordered them with iron setup for some inexplicable reason.
That's one thing that will baffle me about some ACR specifications - if you truly plan to track it so heavily that you'll burn through CCM rotors, then take the factory-included CCB brake option and simply swap the rotors out for a racing brake etc disc when the car arrives.
- Preserves $15-20k of value in the car
- You get the cost savings of iron rotors for heavy track work.
- Return to stock when you plan to sell
At the very least, shouldn't expect top of market prices after such a bizzare configuration decision.
Someone will enjoy that car no doubt, deal-breaker for me unfortunately. Would've been the perfect car otherwise.
I absolutely would be willing to go through the conversion process on my end if the price was halfway reasonable but they wouldn't budge. Oh well, I do wish them luck on the sale.

Let Carbon buy what he wants ....it is his money for goodness sake
Maybe it’s the Corona syndrome taking over on some of the guys on the forum. People telling us what to do and when to do it. They know best what is good for us........

$180K is a fair price for this car imo. Time is money! Be glad this one is even for sale, if you have to pay a small premium so be it. The bonus of buying it from them is they can do the brake conversion right there and you know it'll be done right. You can sell the brakes on the car now on this forum, lots of guys want the steel brakes.
