I didn't even realize you could spec an ACR-E with steel brakes (outside of the TA ACR). Is this true? Was it a no cost option or did you get credit back?

My understanding is that the ACR package provided CCBs by default as a component of the $19k upgrade to a base GTC.
From this listing, I can't spot a credit, or mention of the deviation.
If the factory provided a price credit, that would seem a perfectly reasonable and logical option to select for those that wanted to track. I just couldn't imagine leaving all that value on the table though if they didn't give a price credit.
It would seem to me, more of a 'by special request' option. Which is cool in its own right, for someone who wants that option.

You can sell the brakes on the car now on this forum, lots of guys want the steel brakes.
Looks like it's pending now. Hope the new owner enjoys it and DRIVES it! She's a beauty.

It wasn't by default. CCB was a 2k option and if you didn't select it, the price dropped 2k. For $2,000 everyone selected that option for the most part for obvious reasons.

The White one Chicago Motor cars has is funny. It was first listed at 134k didn't sell , then they listed it at around 148k now its at 155k. Read a few reviews about that dealership and have a bad feeling

My recollection, as feeble as it may be, is that CCB were included with the ACR package as long as the ACR interior was selected. If another interior was selected CCB would need to be added back as a very expensive option (something like 12k).

In the hundreds of ACR window stickers I've seen, I've never seen CCB's as a $2K option. Where are you seeing this?

That's what I recall with the ACR GTCs with Extreme aero...interior made the difference for pricing. It didn't seem to make sense to me but that what I recall.

AZ, I think it was a delete option with the GTC's. I remember you could spec the ACR package and delete the CF rotors. Can't find the ordering sheets on-line. Bill Pemberton would know for sure

AZ, just re-read the post above from Viper SRT, I think that is the way to get steel brakes. I'm 99% sure that was possible on a GTC with the ACR option, but not possible if the car was ordered as an ACR

Read the beginning of the thread below, paying particuar attention to the first several responses on page one by Bill Pemberton...it gives insight into the ACR, CCB, etc. ordering process:

I've spoke with them in the past about a TTR8. They do seem a bit sketch.

The CCB’s were a no cost option if you spec’ed the ACR interior on a GTC ACR, but they were an option you had to select. It seems many, if not most, of us that ordered extremes through the 1-of-1 program selected the ACR interior and thus were able to have the CCB’s at no additional cost. I know some that specifically preferred the steel brakes for tracking economics, as I don’t believe there were any CCB-size steel replacement rotors available back when the these cars were ordered.

This car is so beautiful!!!! Never get tired of seeing pics of this one. If a Murci is barely even noticeable in pics, that really tells you something.

Thanks ACRSNK...Here she is with a few more, plus the Murci SV's Twins. Not sure what happened with the middle shot, it made the snake elongated and shortened the Lambos.

Last bump. Found one I'm ready to pull the trigger on, but still open for last second consideration.
Will update thread with details if/when this deal goes through.

One of the employees who work there used to own a Viper and he ripped someone off on Viper Alley.

I bought my Gen V through them, zero issues. If their ACRE wasn't a bondurant I'd consider it now.
