Thinking about going to 3.55 gears. Can get a gen 3 rearend with 3.55's already installed. Is a gen3 a direct bolt in on a 98 rt/10 or are modifications needed? Thank you for any help

No, it won't fit. 99RT10 will probably have what you need anyway, you can trust him.
