Doug is correct. The Factory tends to do a not so good job of routing the wires under the seat and that part will pull out or the wires will pull out of the connector

Yes, when It senses steel that is indicating full forward position as installed from the factory.

No, there is a slot in the front of the right seat support that it goes into.

Yes, but I have replaced the stock seat with a OMP one.
