96 Seat Sliders

Hi All,
I'm trying to diagnose a stuck passenger seat in my 96 RT/10. The passenger seat will not move forward and is stuck in the fully back position. Upon closer inspection I saw that both rails on the passenger side seat look like this in the front:

Can someone explain to me how this seat slider works? because it looks like that winged shaped part in front is preventing the slider from moving but it is one solid piece on the bottom rail. Is this piece on backwards? I could understand it being in the rear of the slider to stop the seat, but not the front.

Mine was the same way. You can bend the locking tabs back up to allow more forward movement.

Did your seat have any movement at all? We're your passenger and driver sides the same as each other?
