    ACR Brake ducts

    Hello all,

New to the forum. I just purchased an 01 ACR but it has foglights and wanting to return it back to original with the brake ducts. Does anyone have them for sale or where I can find them? Even the part number will help. Thank you all for the help and so happy to be here, waited a long time to be here lol.

Brake ducts? You're correct the ACR's didn't come with fog lights. They had a block-off plate instead. There was no brake duct. I believe the wiring was there from the factory, so it was probably easy to install the lights. It should be equally as easy to remove them.

I believe the part # is 04865448AA. Nothing special about them. You could probably make your own.

The fog lights are an upgrade.

The ACRE brake scoops will work on your car with a little trimming.

How is a part that reduces the originality of an ACR an upgrade? Ever?

Easy. The block-offs make sense only when you track your car. The fog lights are fully functional all of the time. So, you add the fog lights and keep the block-offs in case the next owner wants all original. The location of the block-offs is non-functional for purposes of ever cooling the brakes.

You're using the word "upgrade" incorrectly. Call it a modification - but it's definitely not an upgrade.
