96 02 Viper Stanchion Seals Group Sale

    96-02 Viper Stanchion Seals.
Temple Performance has addressed the big problem with the 96-02 Viper stanchion seals. If you have a GTS it is just a matter of time before your seals will fail from the poor OEM design. We have redesigned them to exceed OEM quality and save significantly compared to OEM prices before they went out of production when they exceeded $350.00 per side.
We have found a company to manufacture them in pairs for us but the setup cost for molds and tooling exceeds $100K. We are doing a group sale and need to sell 125 pair to be able to start the process. We are offering them at $400.00 a pair and once we sell the initial 125 pairs pricing will be $500.00 per pair. Check out our website and get yours today. Thanks and I appreciate your business!!

I checked a group on facebook and a week ago they were still at 50. If they don't have all 125 in place by May 1, they will issue refunds. At least according the facebook post I found.

Has anyone checked with the multiple viper supply places to see if they would pitch in and buy any stanchions. This seems like it will be a one and done opportunity to buy these parts.

I bought mine awhile back and really want them. Every gen 2 GTS I have seen in person has had failed originals.

Ya maybe Jon, Chuck and Dan would be willing to buy a few to get us over the edge?

I saw a FB post that said they only need 100 sets to start production. Where are we at?

You need to submit an order so that the vendor knows that he has the buyers before he lays out the cash to produce them.

How can you tell if you need these? I believe I have the original ones on my 2000 ACR. When it rains or when I take it through a touchless wash, water will pretty heavily on the upper right hand corner of the window (passenger side in the upper rear corner by the headrest). I've always assumed this was the seals around the door starting to fail but wasn't sure where to start with fixing the issue. I drive my car often and sometimes end up in rain so this is important.

Anyone ever have leaks up there and think this would help solve it?

It seems like virtually everyone who has posted on the forums and FB needing a seal or whole stanchion part, wants one because the old rubber seal fell off and either disappeared, or it was damaged, or the plastic part was broken.

Just placed my order, no doubt will need. I just noticed mine were beginning to separate. It's inevitable....just order a set.
