The officers of the Western Reserve are proud to present the details for this years Venom Thaw nicknamed “Vipers in the Valley.”

Where:
Embassy Suites Cleveland/Independence
5800 Rockside Woods Blvd N.
Independence, OH. 44131.

When:
May 15-17, 2020

Here is the preliminary schedule for the weekends festivities...

Friday May 15th

We will begin the evening at...

Class Axe Throwing - 6 p.m.

Dinner approx. 8 p.m. at Slymans Tavern


Saturday May 16th.

We will be hopping aboard the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic railroad for a 3 1/2 hour round trip tour through the Cuyahoga Valley.

After the train ride lunch will be on your own. We can provide a list lunch spots in the area.

After lunch we will depart the Embassy Suites for a scenic cruise through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park where you will be able to take in all the beautiful sights the park has to offer.

The evenings festivities will commence at the host hotel and will include a cocktail hour, a buffet dinner, auction, and social time with fellow members.

Pricing and Reservations

The cost is $85 per person

Price includes Axe throwing on Friday night, Train ride and buffet dinner Saturday evening.

To make reservations please send an email to westernreservevoa@gmail.com. For those needing overnight accommodations you can call the Embassy Suites directly at 216-986-9900 and make sure to mention "Western Reserve Vipers" to receive the group rate OR you can use the dedicated link here to make your overnight accomadations. Room rate is $119 a night plus tax. Hotel room reservations must be made no later then April 24th. and dinner reservations are due no later then May 5th.

Please let us know if you plan on attending the axe throwing and dinner on Friday so we can get accurate head counts for the venues.

POSTPONED


Over the last few weeks the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic has altered our normal way of life. With the health and safety of all our members in mind, we have made the difficult decision to postpone this years Venom Thaw. While we were looking forward to getting together with everyone, we feel at this time it is best to air on the side of caution. If you have already registered and paid for the event, we will issue you a refund as soon as it is possible. Also, if you have already booked your overnight room at the Embassy Suites, you will need to call and cancel your reservations. It is important to note that we have rescheduled the Venom Thaw for May 14-16, 2021. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
