It's that time of the year again, we have been invited back to the Saratoga Automobile Museum for their Spring Car Show May 17th: http://saratogaautomuseum.org/autoshow/ Upper right hand corner, red button "Store" will take you to the per-registration at $10 or day of the show $15.


I have secured pricing for the rooms and have blocked 10 rooms for us at the Country Inn for May 16th & 17th [same Hotel as last year]. Room types that are available:
5 - Standard room with two queen size beds for $99
5 - Studio suites with a pull out sofa bed, refrigerator and microwave for $109

Make your reservations directly with the Hotel @ 518-745-0180 and mention that your with the Viper Club. Reservations MUST be made by April 16!

There is also a Go-Kart track next to the Hotel if anyone wants to follow me around after the show?


Saturday nights dinner is at the "Log Jam" [two miles from the Hotel] http://www.logjamrestaurant.com/ at 2030hrs [8:30pm] on May 17th. If you would like to join us for dinner, PLEASE let me know directly that you are going so I can give the "Log Jam" a total head count by May 9th!! It will be a lot of fun this year with Vipers coming from all over the East Coast & Canada so don't miss it!!
On Saturday morning we will meet just off of Exit 14 from I87 at 0915-0930 and then we will cruise to the museum so we can all park together at the show!


The Saratoga Car Show has had attendance of over 700 cars! For eight years of the Viper Club going, we have had the record for the most cars of any one group ALL eight years!! Fifty or more Vipers in a line gets some attention....

The Weather?

The Saratoga Automobile Museum is going to make a weather decision at 1200hrs [Noon] Friday the 16th as to which day they will be doing the car show. If you preregistered for the car show and gave your e-mail on the form, you will get an e-mail from the museum. If you didn't preregistered, you can check their web site tomorrow after 1200hrs: www.saratogaautomuseum.org
If the museum is going to go with the rain date Sunday the 18th, all the meeting times & spots are the same as Saturday.

2014 SPRING INVITATIONAL AND AUTO SHOW

TV STAR DENNIS GAGE AND BARRETT JACKSON COMMENTATOR ED LUCAS

2014 Spring Invitational and Auto Show in the Saratoga Spa State Park. For this year's event, we anticipate an extensive variety of significant European and American cars and to commemorate its 50th anniversary, this year's featured marque is the Ford Mustang.

Saturday will be the showcase day and will feature the Invitational as well as the traditional Auto Show with automobiles coming from all over the Northeast and Canada. Dennis Gage, host of the tv show, My Classic Car will be on site filming!

Run of Show
10:00 am - Spring Invitational and Auto Show opens to the public.
11:00 am to 2:00 pm - Invitational and Auto Show judging.
2:30 pm - Spring Invitational Awards will be presented.
3:00 pm - Spring Auto Show Awards will be presented.

Admission to the shows will also include entry to the nearby Auto Museum.

The car show is on for Saturday the 17th! See you all in Saratoga!

Once the rain cleared early Saturday AM the weather was fantastic. The view on top of Hogback was ~100 miles and it was crystal clear skies at the Bennington Memorial. Today's return trip was the same for 400 total miles of top down Viper fun!
Lot's of discussion about the Detroit Viper Homecoming trip at dinner. We may have even convinced Dennis to sign up!
Rusty is off to a great start to win the annual most active NE member award!

I want to thank everyone who attended the TatorToga this weekend! I had a great time and it was good to see everybody! The food at the Log Jam was out of this World!

There was a newlywed couple that made the show and said they would be at the dinner but they were a no show for dinner? I wonder what they were doing?
