$130k is their bottom dollar if anyone is looking. This was owned by consumers...not Bondurant.

Re:. Bondurant has a stigma, but knowing for sure a car was properly broken in and maintained seems like a value add to me. Paint chips would be the only worry and thats easy to check. If you're going to build it, race history is pretty moot.

What scares me about Bondo cars is you know 100% there have been plenty of missed shifts. Each car has had dozens if not 100 drivers that have never been in a Viper before, all flustered, trying to go fast, missed shifts are going to happen. Espcially 3rd to 2nd. If I bought a car with say 5,000 or 10,000 miles, I'd rather them have been street miles than track miles. My 4,000 track mile ACR is pretty torn up, especially underneath.

Very valid concern. Probably a great deal for someone with intention of building.

This was my thinking but yes they were maintained and well taken care of but the level of the abuse they suffered is well above a "consumer" car.

I know VE pricing looks to be on the high side, but they do come up with some unusual and low mileage cars.

So you experienced people, what would you consider fair, or market values of these 2 cars?

I've noticed they buy from impatient private sellers that want to move their cars quickly. They're picking them up from autotrader, cargurus etc... Do yourself a favor and do the same. Just be patient. These guys are putting silly markups on these things. If you want to piss away your money and are impatient, then buy from them. Wait for the private seller.

One just like the white one sat at Papa's Dodge near me for over a year. I think they sold it for $119, ask was $129.

The one at Papa's was a Bondurant ACR-E. The one linked in the first post at BJ Motors is not a Bondurant ACR-E
