Beautiful ACR, looks like the previous owner chromed the ACR wheels and installed foglights. For that low mileage, a collector will want it as original as it came from the factory.

I understand, the fog lights are a simple removal but the others are probably something you would leave alone but that’s why I am asking.

The 2000 model year is the least desirable of the Gen II Vipers commonly known as a cream puff car with no forged pistons and no ABS the paint work also detracts from the value for a serious collector I would start in the high forty range and see what happens

I really think the cream puff ship has sailed long ago. You really never hear anyone talking about that anymore. Gen II owners are very different today than 15 years ago. Lots of interest in originality and finding parts rather than heavy mods. It’s a different crowd and the ribbing and mine is better than yours BS has subsided a bit.

Since you are not a member you will not be able to list your car for free if you want to sell it here, but you can pay the small fee and post in the Classifieds. That will also give you the ability to post it on the Forum pages.

Car is worth what anyone wants to pay for it. 3600 miles

I really feel sorry for you guys that do not know the true Viper experience of actually using the thing for what it was intended "Driving", its like not sleeping with your wife or girlfriend keeping her fresh for the next guy

If you bought the car for investment then you bought the wrong car, seldom are cars investments, you would have been better off investing in real estate or the markets.

Good luck with the sale, hopefully it will sell to someone who will actually want to use it!

These are " my honest thoughts"

If you wish for the car to be stuck in another Garage somewhere, then stick it up for sale with Barrett Jackson or Mecum Auctions

Whatever pretty sure the 99 01 and 02 ACRs are more sought after than the 00

‘99 yes, any other year depends on color choice and slight variables in the package.

Actually the 2000 model year posted higher specified hp ratings than manufacturers specs due to those pistons. This old bs has been debunked. Bill Pemberton has explained this topic in great details in previous threads.
I have previously had a 98 GTS and loved that cam but I let the car go.
Currently have 2 gen II 2000 model year in the garage and they both posted higher numbers
when on the dyno than my 98.

Lol, this is what I've always wondered why Everybody THOUGHT they were Better with the Forged Pistons cause everything I've read has Debunked those theories, just look up the Facts! Not to mention the Steel Gray is the Best looking color!

Never said there was anything wrong with the 2000 just that it was the odd year for a couple reasons such as no forged pistons and no ABS anyone that has one in the garage is still very lucky especially if it is a Steel Gray one
