Considering buying a 93 Viper

Someone is selling me a 1993 Viper. The car has not moved or ran for a long time. In general, the paint looks good but the interiors are deteriorated. Engine looks aesthetically good but I can't know mechanically yet. Of course, I will turn it on and run before making any decision.

What do you recommend and advise me? Will it cost too much to take it to a good condition? What things should I watch for?

I am trying to make my dream come true by having a Viper but I want to prevent it from becoming a nightmare.

Asking price: $ 25,000
Millage: 27,000 miles

I will be swapping the black wheels so the grey ones. I dont like them in black.[

I am located in Puerto Rico, so the car here is a bit expensive due to shipping and import taxes.

93 is tough to get parts for

Include a top / windows?

$20K max as-is, AFTER you are sure it runs, drives, and no leaks

head gaskets doomed to fail if not already upgraded.

09 is a MUCH nicer car

I would have it checked out. It looks like possible water damage. Check all electrical when turned on. Does it run? good luck.

Check the headgaskets, look under to see what the side of the block looks like(green stains?). But it is a 93 REAR antenna car. It is worth more than your average Gen 1 car.

I dunno, but the looks of it, run! You'd be better off spending another $10k and getting a well maintained car. Otherwise think you may be putting $10k into that one soon after you buy it.

I might dive in for 25k. She needs a good cleaning/detail and fluid swap etc... but , yeah, at only 27K mi, it's a winner!!
