    Nav system is drunk

Replaced my battery recently after several months of the car being in for service (long story). Battery never died, was always on a CTEK but could tell it was getting weak so replaced it. Car loves the new juice, fires right up etc. ONLY issue is now my NAV system will show me anywhere from on the street over to several hundred feet away from the road I'm on to a few miles away from my current location. I used the NAV screen often when leading drives in the region etc. Sat radio work perfect, radio works perfect, I've done the two button reset several times, the NAV needs an update but it is too old for me to update myself, needs a dealer to do it.

Any ideas why my GPS is drunk and not following my car correctly or even remotely close?

Happened to me too. I disconnected battery let sit for 10 minutes and then reconnected. All good now. An SRT engineer told me to do that. It takes up to 10 minutes for all the circuits to lose their residual charge.

Appreciate it! I'll try that out.

I think that worked. Nav seemed to work when driving back to storage garage. But then hibernation didn't work when I parked it...

Make sure you have the latest Uconnect update installed (as painful as it may be). It is supposed to fix this very issue (the one being off location).
