I've been through this forum multiple times and finally joined. I also joined the IN/KY VOA and look forward to linking up. Below should be a pic of the car I grabbed 10/18 and have put miles and smiles on. Last road trip was to Kansas City, MO and it performed nearly flawlessly. In a separate event- it was pretty sketchy taking it on a 400 mile road trip the day it was delivered. Would have preferred to have more seat time before hand, but no way I was going to be able to park it in the garage while being away the following 3 days!

Anyway, glad to finally jumped on the ship!

That needs to be framed and on a wall somewhere -- killer shot!! Quick question, does your silver 98/99 have the factory blue stripes , as that is one rare Snake , if so? The IN/KY Region is a super solid Club and there are some great events held there every year that help members keep their Vipers on the road and running well. Glad to have you aboard and will look for some more professional photos in the months to come.

Correct- '98 Silver w/ factory Blue stripes.
I got lucky and was put in touch with someone that was running PR for a rally at the time and invited me out to be part of it.
The only other professional photos I currently have are what the PO had taken, but I'll certainly post them up.

I might have to have Sessions diag my car if replacing the IAC doesn't solve my intermittent high idle. Talked to Steve earlier today about him coming to town. I've researched and discovered the high idle is somewhat common and I've done some work to resolve it, but if a new IAC doesn't take care of it I will need a fresh set of eye's to look it over.

Thank you. I think I have a shot at getting it resolved. Been dealing with it off and on since autumn, but I am finally getting some good direction lately.

For quite a few years this color combo was one of the " Holy Grails, " since silver alone was few and far between , and one that was striped was almost unobtainable. With most everything red in 98 and even though black was added in 99, silver continued to be a difficult color for Dodge to match. So the two year Gen II color was just not one Snakecharmers saw very often and the blue stripes just made it pop even more. For many years when selling a Gen II , this was a combination many folks asked for and others painted to match due to it's popularity. Enjoy and get ready for the Viper faithful to give you as many oooo's and aaaahh's as the General Public. Great find and Sessions is a Wiz, and him coming to Indiana each year is another benefit to belonging to the IN/KY VOA Club.

PS - Yess, we all love the " Fess!"

My absolute favourite colour combination on a viper! I remember seeing this combo on the Viper VHS video tape that came with the Gen II's.
Fell in love with it instantly!

I guess I got lucky because the one I was slated to see (and buy), the owner sold it the morning I was supposed to see it- yellow w/back stripes. I wasn't quite sold on the silver until I saw it in person and those stripes absolutely POP!! I hear nothing but high praise about Sessions and Fess is a real stand up guy!

I generally dislike silver as its one of those colors that kinda get lost in a crowed, but this silver has me smitten.
