Doug Shelby Carbon Fiber Engine Bracing Install

On my quest to weigh 2799 lbs, I installed Doug's carbon fiber engine bracing. These sides saved 8 lbs off the nose. I've still got to do the front brace which will save another 2 lbs, (even farther up front weight). As expected with Doug's products fit and finish is amazing. I love these posts. How close are you to 2799?

I'm around 2930 right now. But weight keeps going back in, I got tech'd for race group for nasa so had to add window net, was like 7 lbs! Fire bottle is 17 lbs!
I'm in the process of cutting the rear tub out now. Hopefully that's 35 lbs or so.... Would also be nice if I could move the fuel tank all the way to the rear of the car and lower.
