The GTS R Blue Pearl is a real sweet color in daylight. Saw one of these without the poor taste white mirrors go for $92 last year...it was well optioned like this one. Mileage is right.

Re: White mirrors...........the BUGS can see them coming better.... less guts to clean? Then again, more bugs seem to hit my white stripes than hit the blue around them.....

Hopefully he went the proper route and bought white mirrors and kept the stock ones. Then, the stock ones can just be swapped back in and he can sell the white ones to someone with a white car. Otherwise, someone should contact him about finding stock units in the original color and re-installing those. I think the white mirrors look hideous.

I didn't think replacement mirrors came painted any more. I had to change one on my Gen 4 about a year or two ago and it came in primer. Mark Jorgensen said they stopped selling pre-painted ones.

I was perusing the online version of JonB's shop (I think he bought it from the remnants of the VCA) and I saw a bunch of body colored mirrors. Nothing for a Gen V, but a number of Gen IV mirrors in various body colors. So, they're still out there, but only in a few colors. Surprisingly, there are still a lot of early gen parts to be found there.

I wanted to buy that car last year but the guy is a real asswipe. Turns out he's been trying to sell for at least 2 years (maybe 3 now) and he had his wife/gf list on the FB page for him a few times as well. 103k and not a penny less last time I spoke to him. I see he's now ruined it with the white mirrors... otherwise would have been a good car.
