GenV exhause/cats?

On Gen3's and 4's, they have those huge double cats on each side that many of us replaces with lighter, cooler, hi-flow cats that also improved the sounds. Wondering, does the Gen5 still have those double cats? Has anyone changed?

The Balenger headers come with a single cat.

SRT's design allows you to remove the secondary cats without a CEL because of where the sensor is located, this is a set of the Belangers, we have done 14 sets now without problems.

They "Retail" for $3895 with the HF cats, a little higher then the Gen4 because they are using a much better California spec catalyst. I have 3 sets on the shelf it they are something you are considering.

Presumably one would consider exhaust at the same time, what options are there, just Corsa, and what does that run?

The GenV Corsas are popular and retail for right around $1395. You can also get the full Belanger system with his cat back which is deep and loud! Perfect for the Viper. To add the Belanger cat back to his headers you are looking at $400 extra retail.

We have not been able to get to a dyno yet unfortunately with the weather most have had until recently, I'm sure owners will post when they have a chance.

Sorry no, all of our customers have chosen to use the Corsa with their header install. I'm sure the stock cat back would be maybe a bit "smoother" sounding, but definitely louder then the completely stock Viper.

Not to loud with Belanger's & Corsa? haha.. I must be showing my age. I'll just have to wait until delivery as I'm only on my 6th week.. Then I'll decide on how much sweetness is needed.

Jack B, be knowing! I always wonder about folks who say that they think the V10 sounds funky, as it is obvious they have not heard a set of Belangers hooked up to the Corsa catback!

Did they use the same cats on the Gen 5 as the Gen 4? I have an extra set of Gen 4 cats in my garage....
