    oil pan

i am hoping someone on the forum can help. i am doing an engine swap in a barracuda using a motor out of an srt10 truck. my question is what is needed to use an oil pan from the car verses the truck. is it just a matter of switching the pan and pick up or is there more involved. and does anyone have the dimensions of the car oil pan from the flange down - depth and length. any help is greatly appreciated, local dealership was less than useful for this info.

Yes the pan and pickup will swap no issues. My 65 Barracuda has a center sump pan. the Gen3 Viper pan pickup draws from near center of the pan but the pan is flat. You could taper the pan keeping the pickup in the same location, allowing the pan to drop between the K-member and the steering link.

The 2011 Challenger Drag Pak has a low profile rear sump aluminum sheet metal pan and custom pickup. I'm sure someone at ARROW Racing/ PREFIX could point you in the right direction.
