Very cool. Makes me want an ACR along with my GTC. I think it is interesting how the camera shots with many videos these days imitate those from the former Top Gear. This guy even used one of their more frequently used roads during his video as well.

Thanks for sharing. The guy did a great job of explaining what the car is all about. He noted it's incredible capability, but also the fact that most drivers will need time to be able to exploit all that capability. So true! And so refreshing in today's world.

So bad ass. I thought top was 206 mph without areo?

I think 206 mph is for the standard, non-aero of any kind, coupe. The TA's and ACR's don't break 200 mph due to aero, if memory serves. ACR-E is 177mph on and the TA's are mid 190's I think.

Production 2013 SRT Viper - 200 mph, theoretical 206 mph.

I wonder if there's other videos out there of a base gen V doing 200mph with video of the mph gauge.

Nice video. He definitely "gets it" and understands the pleasure that comes from what is very nearly the pinnacle of the modern era analogue sports car.

Great video, zee. Thanks for posting. I'd responded to one of your posts over on McLaren Life. Great to see you picked up a (beautiful) ACR-E. Excellent choice!

Go watch Dominik Farnbacher's epic record setting Nurburgring Ring run from 2011.

Ha! It seems one always wants what one doesn't have. I regret nearly daily opting for the GTC/TA rather than the GTC/ACR. With our powers combined...

Agreed! I had a TA before so I can relate to you wanting an ACR. The TA is a bad mofo but ACR feels a lot more special IMO. I am sure you would say the same about the 675 vs the 650 LOL - I drove a 675 and its was amazing! I just can't justify spending $100k+ more at this point from my 650. Maybe one day if the 675 falls below $200k or so...
