    Computer reset after Mods

    OK-dumb question

I installed a gen V intake on my gen IV. I did not disconnect the battery.

Do I need to reset the computer by disconnecting the battery or will the PCM just relearn? (I have the MOPAR race PCM with the arrow upgrade).

    Thanks in advance.

Call Scot, but I believe it should be tuned for it already. Call him to be sure though

It is not "tuned for it" per se, but it should be well within the bounds of the PCM's programming so that it won't throw any codes. You should not have to do anything to the PCM...these cars are MAF based, so more airflow into the engine will be accounted for by those sensors.

I did this swap a few months ago, ARROW PCM was already on the car, added Gen5 Intake and headers, no CEL.

Thanks guys. Same here. I drove it after the swap no problem. Just didn't know if I needed to disconnect the battery to do a computer relearn. I guess not.
