Was the 2002 GTS available in red with silver stripes??

I know obviously the FE with the red and white stripes - but was red with silver a factory option?


Anyone know a source to see production numbers by color combo?

Yes, red (with silver stripes; I have one); yellow with stripe package available; and, Graphite with stripe package available.

It's obvious that the one post there gave a direct link to the answer to his question.

We provide the best information we can (if we can) to all in need of the information regardless of club affiliation, membership type or level of contribution. We will continue to be as courteous as we can to all in their quest for information. Even with that said, people are free to use the source they feel most comfortable with. I know of at least three people that have put together a 92-17 accounting of all Vipers. I also know which ones are copies of others work and which ones are authentic work.

We hope that the OP's question was answered to his satisfaction and can use that knowledge as he enjoys his time within the Viper Community.

If your comment concerning the Yellow Gen II GTS was to state that silver stripes were also done on it , that is correct , but there were only two done as we requested the combination. We had done a couple custom paint jobs and knew it looked good, but when SRT finally approved the silver on yellow stripes it was late in the year, we knew about it and as it was only open for order for about 2 weeks we got the only two done with the combo. There were 36 to 40 Red/Silver striped Snakes done the last year , making them much rarer than the Final Edition, which ironically was the most common combination of 2002.

But, no interior options of black with red striping were factory, correct?

Definitely an aftermarket treatment on the seats, as none were done like that at the factory.
