Just wanted to update this thread again since I did new plug and got to really drive the heck out of her today. It did it again but not as bad, this time it was after very heavy driving / racing. Noticed that the clutch peddle doesn't go all the way up and or I'm not letting it come up as far (heavy left foot). So I pulled it back and did only a few pumps and it felt better again. Not sure what is going on but now believe its something in the master / peddle assembly?

If you just released the fluid in the clutch line and did not vacate the entire reservoir bad fluid will go right back into the clutch line.

Hey Jack, I did drain as much out as possible, maybe I have to do more. Sounds like I need to remove more.

Do you have the factory exhaust or are you running aftermarket headers? If headers are they wrapped? Also I see you mention DOT3... If you are running aftermarket headers, unwrapped and DOT3, this could be your issue especially since you mention that it is happening when hot. You are cooking your fluid.

One exhaust mod is High Flow Cat Pipe from JonB. Doubt Dot3 is making that big of a difference, I'm not tracking her. Brakes feel amazing, believe its something in the valving of the clutch components.

Gotcha. Although you may be surprised in the difference between DOT3 and DOT4. The Viper's and their transmission/clutch design has always had an infamous way of cooking the fluid. I would not encourage DOT3. Good luck to you with finding resolution. Happy Thanksgiving!

I would check the clutch hose routing and make sure the insulation is covering it properly near the exhaust header (even factory header). That is the circuit susceptible to heat and fluid boiling.

After checking the fluid again, while car is no running, try pumping the pedal really fast 10-12 times. Do this 2-3 times(10-12 pumps fast). If there is any air in the lines, this will help to release the air from the system.
