    Aldan vs BC vs Eibach

    -car will never be tracked
-need it to sit lower (wheel gap is too wide)
    -reliability and/warranty would be nice

For coilovers we have Aldan, BC, MCS, and KW. I'm going with cheaper option because it won't be raced or tracked, mostly weekend cruising to car shows. Eibach offers lowering spring for $423 so this might be the best choice. I would keep stock koni shocks.

    Thoughts?

    Thank you

Go for the lowering caps. Drops the car about 5/8" and it handles better to.

Start with caps, then if not low enough, go with the springs, but BC Coilovers are superior to Aldans.

I dont see the year of car mentioned anywhere in this thread..... THE YEAR MATTERS

"Going with cheaper option" means that IF the year fits, the spring caps are the cheapest option. No moving parts so no warrantee needed.

You can also combine caps + Eibachs LOW on some years......

You can get 96 and newer caps, as well as the Eibachs or Aladan Eagles (Made USA + Lifetime warrantee) at www.viperpartsrack.com Thanks

Go with coilovers, your springs, shocks and bushings are 17+ years old.

Eibach on factory shocks handles like crap.
Lowering caps, going to have to find them used.

BC can be adjusted to the exact height you want. 30 settings for the dampers, custom spring rates and Swift springs (for more linear compression and rebound) are available to tailor the ride for specific needs (in this case, cruising without wheel gap). Best bang for the buck in the Viper suspension world.

KW is a high quality product and well, it's KW. Given your situation, you likely won't notice a difference in the driving characteristics, but they do look baller and would likely add more value to your car in the long run over BC. You can go lower than what the specs show on the KW website.

I've heard that Aldans are complete junk. Anyone else heard that?

We sell Aldans for almost 20 years. They had some OLD issues back in G3 era when they did not have enuf time with a G3 Mule Car, and released G3 products before they were ready.

Aldans are light ALUMINUM, not cheap, heavy, vulnerable asian steel.
    Aldans are USA made.
Aldans have a LIFETIME WARRANTEE that they do honor.
Buyers and I will deal directly with company Owners..... not US sales agents.

In all the years we have sold Aldan Eagles, we have assisted owners with FIVE, (5), 00005 warrantee claims. Aldan honored all 5 quickly

Have Aldan's on my 01 GTS ; have done very little driving and had some initial adjustment issues but for what it is worth the build quality seems high and the access to the owner / company is very high ; the "Made in USA" factor is real and legit

I can’t disagree with this statement enough! I purchased Aldan American shocks from Parts Rack this summer and can’t be more satisfied with them. I had them installed at Roanoke dodge and they were able to procure original rear forks and save my Gen 2 ACR coil overs from any scuffs and scratches. The Aldans are reasonably priced compared to others and are impressive looking parts with full adjustability from mild to race. They were flawless on a 2600 mile cruise Chicago to Deadwood SD and back. There American made and have a lifetime warranty. Win Win. Thought you other Gen 2 guys might want to hear about a reasonable option from an actual buyer of the Aldans.
