    Mopar Performance Exhaust Gen1

Thinking of going with the Mopar exhaust system from the headers back. I'd appreciate any feedback on what to expect in terms of performance, heat reduction, and SOUND. 95SRT vert

Used system? That has been discontinued / gone for decades.......and it was mediocre at best.

Try Belangers. On Sale: G1 headers + Cats + Catback nicely under $3200 from JonB@PartsRack.com.

    Thanks

That's about what just the headers alone used to cost back in the early days!

It is too easy to make your own system. Get rid of the stock cats, cut them if you can, high flows if you must. Stock system will be easy to fit on a 2.5", but most open up with headers and do 3". If you were close, I would help you build one for less than $650.

i dont think you are building 3" exhaust & a full set of headers for $650 unless you have a water jet & tig welder in your garage

Pretty sure OP was originally looking for a header back system. Super easy to make from Jegs parts, especially on a sidepipe Gen1.

Now...if you want headers too; I do like the Belangers......then make the rest!

Waaay back in 1993, there were NO aftermarket or Mopar options.

I went to my local custom hot-rod shop. He put in a pair of CHERRY BOMB glasspacks.

Sounded GREAT. Sills Cooler. Cost under $200 installed......

I went to VOI-1 with polished wheels, sticky tires, race harnesses, and my custom pipes. You would have thought I had grown a 3rd eye, daring to modify my precious Viper!

So, you DONT NEED A LIST OF PARTS...you just need a competent exhaust shop.

    Good Luck
