You have a stock Gen 1/2 Dodge Viper. Aunt Gertrude passed away and left you $1000 in her will but insisted it goes towards your passion. What do you buy for the Viper? Or do you put it towards something else?????

$1K for car hobby parts? LMAO that's punk money. So yeah it goes toward beer.
Wish list:
Front and rear bushings
HF cats
Borla cat back
New Oxygen sensors (debatable but car is over 60,000 miles and pre 96)
Car mats
12 pack of Coors Light
Loads of oil and filters
3.73 rear gears, ask me how I know.....................
09 ACR With all the goodies
99 ACR TT 99 red RT/10 Roe S/C
97 B/W RT/10 TT 94 RT/10 TT
I just paid $1150 for BC coilovers, money well spent.
A couple of door hinges before they become unavailable
buy 2 windshields.. (if you can find them)
It's October and you're in Canada. The answer is obvious: snow tires!
That's good money for gasoline !!! Drive down your favorite road or even better take a road trip !!!
Tires or Track time at your local road course.
Or ONE gen2 cam sensor...
Perhaps you could take the first $115 and join the VOA? Sheesh.
2008 SRT10 Open Roof (1 of 2)
2022 BMW X5M Comp
Resident Misanthrope
^^^^^^ +2
And maybe some silicone hoses and clamps for the cooling system...heater hoses too.
Some interesting responses thus far. A $115 VOA membership seems to be leading consensus. BC coil overs showing some enthusiastic support. Gas and beer also running neck and neck. Decisions decisions...
To be honest imho the best bang for buck response would be the 3.73 gears. I think that’s gotta be at least worth a top 3 contender status in best upgrade for $1000 or under
