    1000 to Burn

You have a stock Gen 1/2 Dodge Viper. Aunt Gertrude passed away and left you $1000 in her will but insisted it goes towards your passion. What do you buy for the Viper? Or do you put it towards something else?????

Sounds like you intend to put some actual miles on your car. That’s blasphemy in many garage queen circles.

You still have to change the oil. Or buy something for the garage

You drive a Viper......but your beer of choice is more along what the Vette crowd would consume. Coors light ? My dog voids her blatter with a higher quality fluid.

    Otherwise your list is ok

I take the high road and put the $1000 in Aunt Gertude's coffin so she can buy some internet time up in the sleepy zone and learn about the Viper tax.

I just paid $1150 for BC coilovers, money well spent.

I bought 3.73 last year but still haven’t put them in. I really need to make this a higher priority

MartyB, good to know regarding BC coil overs. Those weren’t on my radar

It's October and you're in Canada. The answer is obvious: snow tires!

Some interesting responses thus far. A $115 VOA membership seems to be leading consensus. BC coil overs showing some enthusiastic support. Gas and beer also running neck and neck. Decisions decisions...
To be honest imho the best bang for buck response would be the 3.73 gears. I think that’s gotta be at least worth a top 3 contender status in best upgrade for $1000 or under
