    Mopar decision

Did you buy a Viper before or after your first Mopar? List your current Mopar fleet.

    After.

    Probably had 50+ others prior.

Currently Viper ACR, Ram Power Wagon, 2 Neon ACRs, 1 of which is 1 of 20 Chrysler Celebrity Challenge ACR coupes with 10k original miles, paint and stickers with original cage, halon system and other tweeks.

Previously, 08 Viper aero coupe, Jeep Liberty CRD, several Rams, several Dakotas, several SRT-4s, Caliber SRT4, Crossfire SRT-6, more Neon ACRs & R/Ts than I can count, 2 more of the 20 Celebrity Challenge ACRs, Omni GLH, Shelby Daytona, PT GT with a stick and others I am forgetting.

My first car was a 1980 LeBaron with a 318. Wish I still had it.

Before. Never owned a Chrysler product prior to my Viper. Bought an SRT-10 Ram shortly after, which I sold last year. Current fleet includes zero other Mopars.

After. Dad was a Mopar guy, so grew up around them. "Them" being a '67 HEMI GTX, '69 383 4-spd Road Runner with Air Grabber hood, '70 440-6bbl Superbird and '73 340 Road Runner. That stuff right there gets in your blood and in your soul. The '69 and the '73 are still around, too. Non-performance stuff included a '72 Plymouth Satellite, '78 Dodge Magnum, '80 Chrysler 5th Avenue, '86 Dodge Ramcharger, '92 Cummins diesel Ram and maybe one or two others I'm not remembering.

My first car was a '89 Dodge Shadow ES Turbo with a 5-spd. Went to GM products in the '90s before buying a '99 Ram 4x4 and after that, it's been an all Mopar show. Got an '05 300C when they came out, traded the '99 Ram for an '05 Rumble Bee, shortly after that bought an '04 Ram SRT-10, traded the Rumble Bee for an '11 Ram Crew Cab (which turned out to be a complete POS!), traded the '05 300C for the '10 300C SRT8 I have now, traded the SRT-10 and the POS '11 Ram for a '12 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and just added the '06 Viper in January.

First was a SRT10 Ram RC a couple years ago.
Then the Viper 6 months ago.

Still trying to figure out if this is the smartest thing I have ever done, or the dumbest thing I have ever done.

Jury is still out on that one.

This is a very interesting post. It puts into perspective current Viper owners roots. I am impressed with how many of us have gone from Shelby's to vipers. Hopefully we keep this post going because I think it's great market research for the new car!

First Mopar was a 1984 Plymouth Conquest if that counts. Mopar 2&3 were 04 white mamba and 06 VOI9. BTW, the Conquest was a fun sporty car. My first turbo.

71 Roadrunner - H.S. Graduation gift that was in rough shape.
72 Satellite - Bought for parts car for RR
Sold both to make room for the Viper

Currently have an 05 SRT10 Ram and 99 Viper.
I would add more Mopars, but I don't have the space...

Was never a Mopar guy. Had an Eagle Vision and then 11 Vipers since 94. Now just a 92 .

Have two Jeep Grand Cherokees -- 2012 and 2014 . Love them.

Never got into early Mopars but maybe should have . They have done well.

11 Vipers but you kept the '92..... The originals are the best.
