    Gen IV Rotors

What rotors have people ran on their Gen IV ACRs? I'm about due to replace mine.

I've only tracked and raced with Stoptech Aerorotors and Brembo ACR-X rotors. Both have worked great for me.

    Thank you!

Here's a pic of the ACR-X rotors (on left). I think they were made by Brembo and the folks who tracked them liked them a lot. I got a set from JonB that I never used.

I'm getting ready to try the Racing Brake replacement X-rotors. I've had 2 Brembo rotors recently prematurely crack. Not sure why but i'd figure I'd give these a try at least.

Those are Racing Brakes ACR-X replacement rotor rings on the left. The pic below shows the Brembo ACR-X rotor ring and hat on the left.

PartsRack offers 4 replacement STOPTECH OE rotors from $1095/set including all new drive pin hardware!!

Or, four fully-assembled 2pc StopTech ACR G4 rotors, Slotted, Blak Hats, Only $1595.

Note: These Fit all 2003-2017 Vipers except G5ACR.

Email me JonB@PartsRack.com Or go to www.ViperPartsRack.com

CAUTION: The HEAVY ACR-X Brembo rotor will likely SLOW YOU DOWN, and cost more $$$$$$ for both the rotors and the larger Front pads.

Why? ACR-X Race Cars were designed to run enduro-sessions, not HPDE sessions. 1 hr to 3+ hour races REQUIRE heavy rotors with higher temp ranges over longer time, mass and cost THAT MOST OWNERS WILL NEVER NEED.

BackInBlack, For the RIGHT-HAND PIX, Pretty Sure THAT IS an older Euro-tech Rotor made by GIRO DISC. Just being sure no one ASSumes the RH pix is StopTech or OE ACR rotor ....

XSnake ........... If you are a RACER, Id like to put you in touch with Igor who tested/raced that choice in SCCA and ICSCC.

If you are an HPDE Guy, you would be $$$$ and significant Weight savings ahead on StopTech....

The rotor ring on the right is a Stoptech Aerorotor like I said. The hat is indeed Eurotech/Giro Disc.
