Congratulations and there are likely more Vipers in Switzerland than in any other European Country, which is even more amazing considering it's population compared to those of Germany, France or Great Britain. I would definitely welcome Fatboy's invitation and see if you can make the European Viper Owner's Event as you will probably be shocked at how many fellow Viper fanatics are close by? Welcome to the Club, join soon, and please post often --- those of us in the States love to see Viper photos around the beautiful European Continent!

I hope to visit one of my friends who is currently living in Switzerland next year , and the Museum is on my bucket list! Even though Bob Woodhouse retired from the Dealership almost a decade ago, we talk occasionally and he has nothing but great things to say about the Museum! Appreciate the pics and I still have a recorded video of a car show in Great Britain with one of the Club member's Viper being showcased , and it is always fun to see how the Viper is perceived overseas! We are all enamored by the beast here in the US, but it seems that in Europe it is viewed with a kind of reverence only associated with the most expensive Super Cars ever built.

Keep posting , and since I have heavy Welsh, Scottish, Irish and English roots, a bit of the Grand Isles with ye olde Snake slithering through the glens would be welcome too!

    Hi Ludo,

Congratulations and hope to meet some time! Check the date code on the tyres, if they are older than 5 or 6 years get them replaced, especially if they are the original runflats, otherwise it will drive terribly. Any questions just ask on here

After the Dusseldorf meeting in June, my wife and I carried on to Switzerland, and stayed at Grindelwald just above Interlaken for 5 days. What an amazing place, boiling hot, yet we went sledging on the peaks. Then down to lake Brienze for a swim. Can't wait to go back. On the trip was a very nice Swiss guy who was inspired by a poster of a Viper when he was a child, and saved up for about 15 years to buy and import a gen 3 coupe from the US. It was his first car, and he had never seen one apart from pictures!

    Here's a few of our photo's

Top of the Jungfrau, highest peak in Europe

First (pronounced fuhrst) mountain, we walked to the end of the viewing platform later

    Lake Brienze again

and just before setting off home for the 700 mile journey, plenty of room for luggage, just not a very good view out the rear window

Keep those pics coming of Vipers cruising in Europe. Great to have active Clubs across the pond and it is obvious that your love for the Viper is every bit as strong as it is for us in North America!

    New owner from Switzerland

My name is Steve and I just wanted to say hi. Im restoring an 86gt that I picked up back in February and it feels like I have a million questions about this car. Im new to Fords so forgive me in advance if my questions make me sound like an idiot.
