Battery Disconnected amp Locked Out of Viper

Well this is a first for me, disconnected the battery in the trunk while working on the ACR, accidentally closed the rear hatch and now can't get into the Viper. Forgot to roll the windows down. The trunk is not completely closed but not sure if I shimmy it open. Any ideas how I may be able to get back into my GenV? Thanks.

Yes...connect charger or battery pack under hood...
then use fob. If fob locked in car, use button on trunk.

Thanks Steve, tried the tickle charger but not enough juice. I'll get a battery pack tomorrow. Can't believe I did this, lol,

Can you reach it with jumper cables from another car? By the way, many of us have done it on one Viper or another.

Isnt there a keyhole for the trunk? I think I had to use it once when mine was in hibernation mode and I didnt want to take it out of it to get in there.

Steve, I've been wrenching on my vipers for 14 years, LOL and was proud this never happened to me until now. The problem is not the locked Viper, its that I have down time until I get this resolved. Because I'm replacing my engine mount (Turned out it was the actual engine bracket)...I have the manifolds off (easier to work near the mounts) and have to wait to get a new bracket. This means that I could order headers at this point since I already have it open and it would be SO easy to install them now. This downtime is going to cause me to order more upgrades.

Feel even dumber now because the key hole was there. This is what happens when we get too comfortable with the electronics on this car. Thanks!

Happened once in my GTS. There is a physical key inside of the fob.

There's also a way to put battery jumpers under the hood. It's actually in the owners manual. Ha.
Put positive cable on the fuse box power bolt, and the ground on the nipple on top of the coolant pipe adapter near throttle bodies. See manual for the details. I've had to do it this way a few times.

I got a separate key made for $6 for the trunk and use that instead of the key on the fob as the key on the fob is so flimsy and hate to break it. I have a quick disconnect on the battery and now I don't have to worry about my battery running out!
